Acceptance into Wayan’s family came right from the very beginning. To be warmly invited to their dramatic cultural ceremonies such as weddings, baby and tooth filing occasions, and, a once in a lifetime 100 year family temple anniversary, I, friends and guests, feel very fortunate to participate and, have gained a great deal of knowledge and admiration towards the spirit of the ancient past. Here is a small selection gathered over the 12 years of my involvement with my loving Balinese family.
