Day #1
Pick-up at your hotel and drive towards Padangbai stopping at the salt production village next to the bat Temple. See how salt is manufactured using coconut wood and sunlight. Check-in to your Beach Bungalow. Sunset fishing with Lulu the fishing guide from Puri Rai. Dinner at Puri Rai Restaurant where you will meet Pak Komang, one of the village chiefs and his wife in their restaurant located on this tiny fishing village promenade. Lesson #1 is Balinese desserts!
Day #2
Early rise to go shopping at the vegetable and fruit market. Stop at Padagbai beach to wait for the Jukung boats and assist in the weighing and counting of the fresh catch. Return to restaurant where you will learn how to make Pepis, a traditional Balinese cooking method using banana leaves and your fresh catch of the day!
